Nurse Practitioner Dale Ann Dorsey explains how cranberry juice can help if you have a urinary tract infection.

Dale Ann Dorsey:
Cranberry can be helpful in urinary tract infections because it produces a substance that keeps the bladder lining slippery, so that the bacteria have a real hard time adhering to it and they are flushed out much easier.

I recommend to women that have bladder infections or have chronic infections to use either pure cranberry juice, not the sweetened kind, or the cranberry tablets.

And you can drink that a couple of times a day and for chronic UTIs daily would be good.
