Dr. Eilber explains the long-term consequences associated with urinary incontinence.
Dr. Eilber:
So, it has been well studied that people who have incontinence, both men and women, definitely have markedly lower quality of life scores. They also have higher risks of bladder infections. There’s also higher rates of depression for obvious reasons. People who are very incontinent, they really change their lifestyle and don’t want to go out because of embarrassment regarding their condition.
