There’s definitely hope for women who have issues with urinary incontinence and it’s getting better every year. So there’s a lot of research that’s being done. There’s now new modalities of treatment such as neuromodulation.
I think the main message is that it can be helped in the majority of patients. Certainly there are a few patients who may not be helped with modalities of treatment, but I think that is relatively few. It obviously relates to all the comorbidities that may be present with other medical illnesses, but for patients, they should seek help and they may find that in fact, to their surprise, that a lot of the urinary leakage may be better or they may come to where it’s actually absent.
