Dr. Wolfe shares if a woman should avoid caffeinated beverages if she gets insomnia and explains a sleep study.

Dr. Wolfe:
We know that caffeine can disturb sleep even for days after its use. If you truly have insomnia, you should get caffeine out of your diet. We know that if you are a person who does not have significant insomnia, but you’d like to protect your sleep, avoid caffeine after noon.

A sleep study is a night in which the breathing, heart function, oxygen function, and brain function is monitored over night. What we look for are any medical or physical problems that can be disturbing sleep.
