Celeste shares the biggest mistakes a woman makes when caring for her skin.

Celeste:
I think the biggest mistake people make is in thinking that it is complex, in thinking that they have to do a lot of steps in order to have effectiveness. One is, keep it simple, it is the basics. It is not the $1000 creams that work--I'd love to sell those and tell you that it is--but truthfully, it is simple things, it is cleansing every day, it’s wearing a great sunscreen, it is moisturizing, and it is making sure that you just get dead skin off the surface, and most importantly that just, like you take a multivitamin for your body, you need multivitamins for your face. So you really have to think about everyday topical application of vitamins. If you just do that, it is easy.

The other thing I think is that people also think that spending more is all about the quality of what you get, and the truth is this that, it is inexpensive to take care of yourself. In fact, it is less than a cup of Starbucks a day of any great line, and if you want to take the time and find out about the quality of the ingredients that you have in the bottle. And, you know, people have been sort of trained and conditioned to look at an ingredients listing on the back of the bottle. Well, in today’s world, that does not tell you anything because people used to think that order of ingredients was what was listed. Well, today it is about what percentage is in that bottle, what the purity of it is, where it came from. So, it is more important for you to really trust the formulator you are dealing with and the knowledge of the person who is formulating, and really get to know what is behind that in order to have the best products.
