Junk Food and The Benefits of Dietary Supplements- HER Health Minute- Missy Anderson

Junk food seems to be everywhere and adds on a lot of calories without having much nutrition. Consider looking at dietary supplements to add more nutritional value to what you eat.

Missy Anderson: It’s so important to take care of yourself – and sometimes diet and exercise alone just aren’t enough. Hi! I’m Missy Anderson and this is HER Health Minute.

It’s the 21st century and junk food seems to be everywhere. It’s hard to ignore and sometimes even harder to avoid. Junk food generally refers to those foods that contribute lots of calories but little nutritional value.

What exactly junk food is may vary depending on who you ask. As a general rule, junk food tends to fall into one of three categories: high calorie sodas, snack foods and fast foods.

Let’s be honest though, these foods are everywhere, and it can be downright impossible to avoid them altogether. One thing to consider is adding dietary supplements to your everyday diet, to help round things out. Dietary supplements, just like women, come in all shapes and sizes.

Women don’t look like men, nor do we function internally like men. That’s why it’s important to take dietary supplements that are designed with our unique needs in mind – like Optimal Solutions®, brought to you by Nature’s Bounty®. They have a variety of choices, especially for women!

No matter what you decide to do, remember that beauty starts on the inside. For more information on diet and nutrition, and to get the latest in women’s health and wellness, visit EmpowHER.com.
