My thing was, I wanted to talk to a survivor. I just knew every day I was going to die because they only gave five years, tops.

I went for five years, with just check-ups and just ready to celebrate a five-year anniversary of no evidence of disease, and it came back. I was devastated, mainly because they said if it came back to my pancreas which I had known I had to the head removed, that I would die. And so, that was very hard to hear.
