Dr. Chris Renna shares a patient success story after he sent a patient to undergo Regenokine® Therapy with Dr. Peter Wehling.
Dr. Renna: I had an actor, a very well-known celebrity in Hollywood, who had signed up to do a movie in which he was going to have to do a lot of action scenes, and he had done lots of these before but recently he developed osteoarthritis of his knee. He is in his 50s and he wasn’t going to be able to do the scenes.
So he had tried the two more common injectable treatments for osteoarthritis. He had a thing called hyaluronic acid which is like five or six different brand names. He also had his steroid injection – neither worked. So he is pretty desperate.
And they moved up the schedule, like when he first signed up for it he thought ‘maybe I’ll get to replace my knee and no one will know,’ but they moved up his shooting schedule so he was pretty desperate. He said, “I have got to find a way to do this”.
So I help people find the best medical practices worldwide. I feel like it’s my obligation to give people the best medical advice and best options and opportunities available. So I searched the medical literature and I found Dr. Wehling’s paper on his treatment. In fact I found two papers.
It was really impressive because in medicine we are taught to judge the validity of a medical claim based on very certain criteria and research work. So a randomized study, placebo controlled, double-blinded or single-blinded, is really the highest credibility you can accomplish, and that’s what these papers were, plus they were independent of the inventor of the treatment.
So I called him up and I spoke to him. I said, “Are you just research or clinical practice,” he said, “No, I have a clinic and I treat a lot of patients,” and I asked him about the therapy. I got off the phone and I called my patient and I said, “Okay, this is what you got. It’s the only thing I can find that sounds credible”.
There’s a lot of anecdotal stories about this and this and this or the thing that works but this is the only one that’s really credible. If you want to try it in Düsseldorf, Germany – don’t know where that is but somewhere over there. So my patient was desperate and he went over, like within two days he flew over there.
Since then I have had a great deal of experience with Dr. Wehling’s invention. In fact I am doing it myself in my clinic which is LifeSpan Medicine in Los Angeles, soon bringing it to Dallas and about one-third of the people who received this treatment, respond right away and maybe the other two-thirds within a few weeks or several weeks after the treatment is done.
But this guy that I sent, my first guy, responded right away and he called me the afternoon of his first injection on a cell phone in Germany and he was telling me, “I am jumping up and down. I am jumping up and down,” on his knee, you know like being able to bear weight on his knee. I said, “That’s great. That’s great.”
What I really thought was ‘you are crazy,’ like ‘you have really bad osteoarthritis. There’s nothing that could actually have worked that well.’ In fact, it did work that well and it worked that well the next nine times that I sent people to Germany to have it and they were all very advanced cases.
So look, I am a very careful guy in terms of making my medical decisions and I scrutinize ideas and practices and even of the practitioner’s colleagues very closely, but after the ninth time it was irrefutable that this fellow, Dr. Wehling had created a revolutionary treatment.
