Dr. Sanderson:
Radon in the environment is another factor that has been implicated in causing lung cancer. Exposure to certain metals can also be a factor. Arsenic and lead, in years passed radium, uranium miners suffered from this, that, usually most uranium miners were not women but exposure to radon or to, or to some of these other atmospheric pollutants that can contribute as well.
