Julianna Lyddon shares how mind, body, spirit integration can aid in the treatment of lung cancer.

Julianna:
Mind, body, spirit integration is absolutely an important factor when you are looking at healing your lung cancer. Now its important to know mind, body, spirit integration is not a cure in and of itself for your lung cancer but it is another way you can begin to look at your lung cancer, another way that you can begin to heal other parts of yourself because through mind, body, spirit integration what we find is that we are working at dealing with the entirety of the human being.

We are looking at what our mind is doing, what our body is doing, what our spirit is doing, and we start to listen to the messages because our mind is sending us messages through our thoughts. Our body is sending us messages through to letting us know about its state of being; letting us know if it’s in pain; letting us know if it’s fatigued in some way.

And same is true with the spiritual aspect of ourselves. The spirit might not be able to be seen or measured in a laboratory but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Many of us have experienced our spirit in a deep or profound way. Maybe you have recognized your spirit when you felt a deep connection to something but you couldn’t quite put your finger on it or may be your body didn’t have the energy to move forward but all of a sudden you were surged with a power that came over you and you were able to continue or maybe you found your purpose in life.

All of those are aspects of the spiritual part of ourselves and the spirit is sending us messages with regard to our purpose. So through the intuitive work that I do I have found that the physical body is amazing with its messages. Every organ is sending us through its voice, messages. So we need to pay attention to this language and we can do that by using this voice and translating it into a metaphorical type of question.

So when we think of mind, body, spirit integration with regard to lung cancer let’s look at the purpose of the lungs. Well, the lungs are there for respiration. The lungs are there for our breath. Well, our breath is the life force energy that moves through each and every one of us. So let’s look at this concept of breath or life force energy.

How do we see this in our reality? Are you the type of person that takes a deep breath into every experience that comes your way, every relationship, every challenge, knowing that if you breathe deeply into it you are going to find the lessons that lye within it? You are going to find that no matter how challenging or difficult that experience is, there’s something there for your highest and best learning.

That may be hard to do because quite often many of us get in situations where we feel uncomfortable and it’s as if we can’t breathe. It’s as if we feel suffocated around a specific person or in a certain environment or sometimes we breathe into the situation but then we can’t exhale. We are stuck.

Well they say that we only use approximately a third of our lung capacity. That’s not enough. That’s not enough to allow this vital life force energy to surge through us. Our organs needs more, need more; our spirit needs more. So breathe life into every experience you can. Try it out; practice contemplating this type of metaphorical questions surrounding this concept of life force energy and see what happens. Work at deepening who you are and breathing life into everything that comes your way.
