Dr. Daenell shares what women can do to clean their digestive tracts.

Dr. Daenell:
You know, simple things that anyone can do is you can look for a good probiotic or the good friendly bacteria that you might find in yogurt. Unfortunately, when you eat it in the form of yogurt, you’re consuming extra calories, sometimes extra sugar and fat, and when you expose those good bacteria to the stomach acid, some of them don’t make it down to the small intestine where they belong.

And so a good, protected, probiotic supplement might be an easy way to go. It’s calorie-free, it’s fat- and sugar-free, and, if it’s got a special coating technology that will protect it from stomach acid, you can ensure that it will all get down into intestines where it belongs.

Pretty much anyone and everyone, children alike, can use a good probiotic and be better off for it.
