Busy Woman’s Guide to Acai Berry

So what’s the deal with acai berry? Is it really a weight loss miracle? Should I be eating them?According to the Busy Woman’s Guide’s favorite registered dietitian, Jill Fleming, “The acai berry is great. Since it has gained so much publicity and the price has gone up, keep in mind that you can get the same benefits (improve your HDL, lower total cholesterol, antioxidants, prevent Alzheimer's, enhance weight loss and fiber) from blueberries.”

Is it a miracle food? No.

No one food is the key to a healthy diet. Feeding your body a combination of healthy foods is the “miracle.” Jill’s new resource, My S.O.S. Diet, is a great way to fit those important fruits, veggies and grains into your busy day. One of her best tips is to have a smoothie for breakfast. But not just any smoothie…a Super Energizing Smoothie!

Thanks Jill - for making it so easy to eat better!

Great Information. When I come across the special juices that have these berries I wonder if the people who consume them think that this juice is going to solve all their issues. The berry is great but we still have to watch what we eat and exercise.
