Wendy:
Yes. The longer you have alopecia the less likely your hair is going to grow.

I have actually gone to hair specialists and they have looked at my follicle or my papilla, which is the root, and its very thin, baby fluff. It’s like bum fluff.

And it’s very weak and the longer you have it, in fact my own personal experience is the longer I have had alopecia because I went from areata to totalis to universalis, the smoother my head has become, because as we age we lose hair naturally any way.

So it’s a natural cycle but yeah, I have lost hope.
