Okay ladies, that time has come. I have tried to put it off but the inevitable is coming. Meeting my parents. The family grapevine is a buzz with my new serious fella. They do not know his age. But we have been "hogged tied" into a meeting. UGHHHHHHHHHH. Picture archie bunker and joan rivers and those are my parents. I'm freakin' out. My fella said relax, no problem..meanwhile I am wondering how to answer the uncomfortable question that will come up, " so you're copulating my daughter- couldn't find someone you're own age?" UGHHHHHHHHHHHH and furthermore UGHHHHHHHHHHHH. anybody gotta Valium I could use.

Hi Somoca, Welcome to EmpowHER. I can imagine how you must be feeling. But he eventually had to meet them soon or later. It might be good to talk to your parents before and explain how you feel. I have heard so much ridicule and criticism over my choice to be with someone so much younger and less mature than I am.
