Questions Does Herbs, Such as Black Cohosh, Really Relieve Menopause Hot Flashes?
Honestly, I have yet to try Black Cohosh for relieve from menopause hot flashes. However, I recently read a study on the use of Black Cohosh for women who experience early menopause from breast cancer treatment. The study provided very encouraging results. According to the Gynecological Endocrinology, 2011 report, certain types of breast cancer need estrogen to grow, but the standard estrogen-blocking cancer therapy, tamoxifen, often creates or aggravates menopausal symptoms. In the study women who under took the treatment took Black Cohosh extract for six month. There were no side effects from Black Cohosh and reported many fewer and less severe menopausal symptoms after 6 months. Hot flashes, sweating, sleep problems, and anxiety improved most.

Thanks so much for your question. I have a ton of natural menopause relief strategies on my blog you should find helpful...
On a personal note, I've been using Maca damiana, evening primrose and B complex as a mainstay for a long while now with absolutely no night sweats and the common discomforts associated with menopause.
Please check out my website for lots of great info...

I am now trying Amberene. Found it on some web sight. Can't remember which one. You can buy it online. I've been using it for about 3 weeks. I am already improvement in night sweats and flashes. Normally I have to change at least twice during the night. The last two nights I didn't change even once. And my usual every half hour, all day long hot flashes are lessened. The flashes I am getting are less intense and shorter. I had breast cancer. Mastectomy and chemo. It forced me into meno. The tamoxifen made every side effect worse. For 3 years I took that awful drug. I should probably not be using the amberene, but at this point I feel quality of life beats out length of life. Why bother trying to live as long as possible if your life is so misrable you really want to die. Most of the time I can bearly do housework without feeling just awful. With the flashes I get such heart palpatations. Now I am feeling a little better. It is supposed to take about a month to see if it's going to work for you. I bought the 3 month supply. You are supposed to get your money back, with return of 2 unopened packs, if it is not helping. Not cheap, but worth it for me. So far. AMBERENE. Look it up, sorry I didn't save the sight, but it was easy to fing. Just query Amberene. Let us know. Valery

Hello, I am currently doing bio identical progesterone and estrogen topically. I am seeing a big difference in my hot flashes and night sweats. I have them compound at a compounding pharmacy. They are all natural and nothing synthetic.
