I keep hearing about the New York Times article which talked about how yoga can "wreck" one's body. I also recently read an op-ed to the article regarding the inaccuracy of the reasoning behind the dangers of yoga described in the article, referencing the science of yoga and how there are limits, like any other physical practice. It makes a great deal of sense to observe the limits of my body, and find a balance between challenging myself and staying within the limits of what is healthy and safe for my body. It's hard not to feel defensive when yoga has done so much for me personally. What do you think?
