Do you track your food intake?
So I recently started using this iPhone app to track my workouts - and food intake. Not so much to track every calorie burned vs. consumed (I'm definitely not that anal), but instead to get a better picture of exactly what I'm eating and to see in black and white what food groups I'm lacking. I just started using it yesterday, and this morning, wokeup to an email from "daily burn" the application - analyzing my food intake and saying which vitamins/food groups I was lacking and gave me suggestions on how to balance my diet! So crazy - it was very eye opening!!
Anyone else have good suggestions for maintaining a healthy and balanced diet?
Lauren
I will try out MyFitnessPal too. Sounds like a good app! Thanks OttMomGo.

I use MyFitnessPal (available in on the Web, Android and iPhone). The convenience of having nutritional values provided and the running tab of calories/fat/carbs is important.

Hi Lauren!
I've started writing down what I eat everyday in my journal. I carry it with me wherever I go, so it's never that hard to remember. Just writing down what I've eaten helps me see how many grains, dairy, veggies/fruits, and proteins I get in a day. It has really helped me to balance my diet. I am addicted to cereal and oatmeal, but obviously I need some other foods in my diet. Keeping track of it all helps me decide what I need to put into my next meal. A little less cool than an app, but definitely helpful. =] Good luck with it!

Hi there,
I'm using Calorie Counter and Food Diary APP for tracking food intake. I think it's one of the best APPs for iPhone.
