Tips on Eating Healthy & Feeling Good: Snacks?

Hi everyone,

Let's start a conversation! I really try to eat healthy throughout the day, but preparing healthy snacks is tough for me. Anyone have tips on eating healthy and feeling good snacks? On-the-go healthy snacks? My fruit and nut mix is getting old!

Thanks Danielle for all your tips I can use these ideas as I really get stuck thinking of new ideas like you mentioned early,so I bought green apples and the apples were very tart but again I ended up slicing the apples and sprinkled a little cinnamon on it,not bad to taste saved me from throwing the apples out.It is very funny that you mentioned veggies I went out and bought a small package of mixed veggies,with cauliflower,baby carrots,cerly sticks, and broccoli plus small tomatoes,dip came with it.Grapes seedless I been picking at too. Thanks for the 150 calorie Ice cream Arctic Zero, putting that on my list. So glad you are finding ways to cope as life can get so busy.You are doing great! keep up the good work!

I recently found a pint of "ice cream" that has 150 calories total! If you ever have the urge to eat a whole pint.. :P Not too creamy but hey! The brands is Arctic Zero.

Also been doing a lot of the cut apples, grapes and other yummy easy-to-travel-with fruit! Cut veggies like celery are an excellent idea!

Hi Danielle,I have been eating popcorn lately with cinnamon and other types of spices to flavour it,not to bad better then all that butter.Celery sticks with a bit of peanut butter.Have you tried dark chocolate a couple of pieces,Jello with low calorie whip cream.My favorite is rice krispie squares,of course you have to plan a head tomake this but it only takes 20 min,low fat frozen yogurt is good and healthy I heard. I think I will put that on my grocery list this week lol,I hope you are doing well and keeping positive.I have been busy with my dad he is 92 this March 21,he is doing well and cannot complain.Take care,wishing you well
