No sex or relationship question is too embarrassing because it's time to ask EmpowHer's sexuality expert, Dr. Marty Klein, anything.

Michelle King Robson:
An anonymous woman on EmpowHer asks, “Dr. Klein, what can my husband and I do if we both have different views of sexual fantasies?”

Dr. Marty Klein:
Well, everybody has different views of sexual fantasies. This doesn’t sound like a big problem to me. I think you guys ought to talk about it, and if one of you wants to play some games that are like those fantasies and the other one doesn’t, then don’t. It’s really quite simple. We shouldn’t do what we don’t want to do.

Now that said, we might want to know, well, why is playing out some of those games so exciting for your partner, and are there ways to play those games that you might feel more comfortable with? So for example, he might say, “Oh, let’s play the ‘oops, I forgot my panties’ game. Let’s us when we go out, I’ll go to the gas station and fill up the car. And you’ll get out of the car and you’ll bend over, and you give the guy in the gas station a real nice look.” And let’s say that you don’t want to do that, but you might be willing to do that in private, in the house, you know.

You might be willing to walk around in the house and pretend you’re at the gas station, and there you can play the ‘oops, I forgot my panties’ game, and you’ll feel comfortable doing it in private, and he’ll enjoy playing out that fantasy.
