Pain during or following sexual intercourse is common with endometriosis. Though pain is the most common symptom, the intensity of pain is not a reliable indicator of the severity of endometriosis. In fact, some women with severe endometriosis have little or no pain, whereas, some women with mild cases have severe pain.
