Conventional and Naturopathic Treatments for Endometriosis

Dr. Marianne Marchese explains some different types of treatment for endometriosis. The primary conventional treatment is a laparoscopic procedure. Prescribing birth control pills to alter hormonal conditions is another type of conventional treatment. A third conventional medical approach that could be taken for endometriosis would be prescribing anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen or naproxen.

A naturopathic approach might be dietary means of reducing inflammation. Another naturopathic treatment for endometriosis could include dietary counseling. Dr. Marchese recommends detoxification to remove chemicals from the body and treat the liver, and to offer bowel support to eliminate toxins.
