Behcets Disease is a rheumatological condition in which seemingly unrelated symptoms (mouth and genital lesions, arthritis, uveitis, and inflammation of the vascular system)come together to form a rare disease. It may take years before you are properly diagnosed. It targets men, women and children, and currently there is no cure. The illness may also cause fatigue, weakness, chronic pain, generalized inflammation, skin conditions, fever, and possibly blindness. If any of this sounds familiar, please get an evaluation from a rheumatologist.
