It’s the dream, isn’t it? Turning your hobby/interest into your full-time job. You may be surprised at just how feasible this is though, at least I was. Feel like a career shake-up? Check out these beauty and health related roles you can go into to enhance your life!
Image Consultant
An image consultant doesn’t just focus on what is without, but what is within. Whether your client is in politics or in a position that requires them to be in the public eye a lot, it’s up to you to make them presentable. Specialise in a niche and offer fashion, beauty, and behavioural advice to your clients. This is a great option if you are interested in the whole package, rather than just beauty.
Make-Up Artist
This is probably the go-to career path for many people who love beauty. It’s surprisingly easy to do something worthwhile with this job. If you specialise in weddings, occasions, etc., and become known for flawless make-up, you can start making a name for yourself in your area.
However, if you’re hoping to start doing make-up for celebrities eventually, it’s going to be a tough battle. Get involved in events, like local fashion shows, to network yourself further. You may find that it helps to invest in Hairdressing and Beauty courses, so you can show off your qualifications to prospective clients.
Theatre Artist
Are you interested in drama and like to get a bit experimental with your make-up? Becoming a theatre artist is an extremely fun way to earn a bit of money. You can turn perfectly ordinary people into old witches or spooky monsters with a flick of a brush. Practice working your fantastical magic at home. You will also be expected to do normal make-up too, so it’s up to you to be as versatile as possible.
Beauty Editor
Get in touch with a beauty magazine – or create your own – and offer to become an editor. You will need to have quite an impressive reputation to convince them to bring you on-board, but you can always create your own magazine, if you’d rather create something that represents your interests. Try to find a niche, instead of just being another generic beauty magazine.
Beauty Blogger
This is something you can try to do alongside a full-time job. The market is saturated, but if you don’t mind that, you can start up your own blog easily. Get a domain name and hosting from one of the many sites out there (more information here). If you play your cards right, you could monetise your blog and make a surprising profit off what can seem like a fun hobby.
Pop-Up Spa
Do you take your health and beauty seriously? With a little treatment and massage knowledge, you can make people glow with your very own pop-up spa. If you can travel, this means that you can go to where the work is and set up a temporary hub, causing a stir wherever you go. You can even patent your own treatments too!

I too agree this.
September 1, 2015 - 11:18pmWhen your job is own choice then it is not just a job it is your passion. Similarly, if your health becomes your priority or love then it is your passion to be fit and healthy.
I also liked this concept.
Good one.
