Maintain A Proper Diet
It’s common for women to give up their nutritious pregnancy diet once they have delivered. But, this is a mistake. Post delivery, you should ideally stick to your plan of having 4 to 5 small healthy meals a day. Complex carbs, protein and fiber are what should be what you eat the most of. Also make sure to drink plenty of water!
2. Stay Active
While this doesn’t mean that you should go back to exercising, it makes a big difference if you keep yourself active. Make sure to take walks around the house, or even slowly around the neighbourhood. This will help ease gas, make digestion easier and even boosts circulation. Just make sure you don’t do anything to strenuous.
3. Sleep Well
Now, a lot of mothers will roll their eyes at this one. How exactly do you get a good night sleep when you have a newborn baby to take care of? Well, believe it or not, there are ways to get your baby to sleep through the night. Once you’ve mastered that art it will massively speed up your recovery. 4. Visit Your Doctor Often
Your doctor should be your only source of health related info during recovery. There will be a lot of people that are very eager to share their “helpful”advice. But, not all of this will be the right advice. Especially when it comes to medication, supplementation or any form of exercise, make sure that you always consult your doctor!
