Do you find yourself sitting in a quiet space wondering why your life has turned out the way it has? Reflecting can be a scary emotional process. Seeing yourself in a place you didn’t think you would ever be may seem like a life sentence. It doesn’t have to be. Some women find themselves thinking about this very same subject when the kids start to move out and they are either left alone or in a relationship they feel is just not quite right for them.
Call it mid life crisis or a mid life quest, but it’s a journey many women face in their 40’s and 50’s. Women approach mid life differently than men. We don’t see it as the end of our youth, but as a way to do it differently, our way this time. We take inventory of our past and start to wonder how can we apply our experience, knowledge and drive to the future chapters of our lives. How can we take our wisdom and make a profound difference in helping others, so they may avoid some of the mistakes we have made in our past?

I'm 27 and I find myself reflecting more than I would like to... but I guess life's circumstances will do that to us also.
Thanks for posting this-- I find myself closing more and more doors lately ready to open new ones.
Best Wishes!

Kudos to you Rosa that you are always aware of where you are and the circumstances you find yourself in. I didn't start reflecting and really going within until I was in my late 40's. I am a proud contributor to a book called Speaking Your Truth that launches on Amazon on 8/28th and I wrote about a chapter in my life that had such an impact on the person I am today. Please visit my website www.powerbychoicellc.com there are many more interesting articles you can read. Keep trying new doors, you will be amazed at what is out there and may serve you better.
