Hi, I have been seen by my gyn about a month ago because I have been having lots of pain with many different symptoms of ovarian cyst. I also have been feeling constipated and I was told it was the main cause of my problem and they told me I should see a GI doctor for it. I did see a gastroenterologist and told me to take something called miralax.
I realized I'm going to the bathroom regularly and normally the past few days and feel better from all that which I'm glad but I've been having lots of pain below the left side of my stomach where the cyst is located. I feel so much pain and pressure beside my stomach I want to know do you think this is from the ovarian cyst? The gyn I go to they are not very helpful they all are residents and out of how I'm feeling because of this I don't know what to do exactly. I'm in process of looking for a new gyn though. Ever since I noticed such pain and problem I haven't had much appetite either I want to know do you think all this problem is from the ovarian cyst?
Thank You,
Melissa

I see okay thank you. It's been days I've been looking for a new gyn I don't know why there is no one available in my area or they don't take my insurance. It's driving me crazy like this. I'm calling my insurance on Monday to know what's going on.
Thank You,

Hello Melissa,
Hope you find a new gynecologist. By the way, a resident is an individual who has graduated from medical school, received a medical degree, and is in the final clinical training before going on to a specialty fellowship or entering private practice.
