Will Folvite Tablets delay the periods? Does it change the menstrual cycle?

I am 24 years old female. I am taking Folvite tablets for the past 1 month as advised by the doctor (as me and my hubby are planning for a baby). My menstrual cycle is 26 days usually. Will having Folvite tablets delay the periods? My cycle has crossed 28 days by now. So are there chances of me being pregnant?

Hi Anonymous,

B-Long F is Folic Acid and OvaCare is a multi-vitamin. Neither one of them is meant to induce your period, nor will it prevent it.

If you are having gastric issues when you take them, it's probably the Folic Acid that is upsetting your stomach, taking it with food will usually help this.

Hope this helps,

Rosa

Hi Priya,

The tablets you are taking should have no impact on the delay of your period.

Could you possibly be pregnant? or do you have irregular periods?

Bharati,

I am sorry but there is no magic pill on the market that will get you pregnant on your first try. Much like everyone else, having sex without protection is the way to get pregnant. If it has been more than 1 year since you and your husband have been trying to conceive, please consult with your doctor for further testing and possible treatments to aid in pregnancy.

Best of luck to you,

Rosa
