i had laproscopic surgery and had endometriosis. The doctor put a hole in my colon trying to remove it. I ended up in the hospital for 4 days. Now, 3 months later, I feel worse than I did before. I had a pain once a month and now I have pain in my hips, back, and pelvic area.

Anon - What do you mean by "putting a hole" in your colon? Did you receive discharge papers from the hospital which detail exactly what occurred? Are you now under a doctor's care and have you been followed up since leaving the hospital? Were you followed up by the same surgeon? If so, do you have an independent primary care physician you can go to who can review your situation? Your PCP will want to know exactly what took place in the hospital, and may want to refer you to a gastroenterologist for follow up to make sure your colon is healthy. The pain may be related to the surgery, or it may be something completely separate, but in either case you need to seek medical attention and get answers. Take care, Pat
