Where do I start with my passive aggressive behavior?

I was listening to a radio program today and they were talking about traits of passive aggressive behavior. I have the traits and I don't even know where to start. I am so tired of the struggle and protecting myself. ALL of the relationships in my life have suffered. I want to do better and be better. I have found lots of information online but would really like some insight and suggestions. Thanks.

Hi n_breaux,
Thank you for your question and for joining EmpowHER. If you feel you have a behavioral disorder, it's best to talk with your doctor first and rule out other (often non-serious) conditions that could be contributing at least in part. If your doctor feels you could benefit from behavioral counseling, they may refer you. Many insurance programs cover behavioral counseling also.
It's great you want to advocate for your health. For more information, please check out this information to learn more, and also notice there is a link for finding a provider if you need one:
