I recently got my depo shot. It was on day 13 of my cycle on July 24th. Thank you!

Hello, km0901!

Thank you for posting.

For the benefit of our readers, Depo-Provera is a prescription birth control method. Each Depo-Provera shot slowly releases a synthetic form of progestin, medroxyprogesterone acetate, that can protect you against pregnancy for 11 to 14 weeks. We can't say when your period will come, but it’s normal for the shot to change your period, or even make you not get one at all while you use it.
