Whats the treatment /remedy for a bowel impaction.

A bowel impaction can be very serious. It occurs with a large mass of feces hardens and unable to pass on it's own. Certain medicines, dehydration, medical treatments/surgeries can be a cause.

Stool softeners can help, and enema's generally work well to break up the impaction. If not, a medical intervention may be required. If an enema doesn't work, don't wait long to call your doctor.
