I am a 32 yr old female. A few days ago, I found a lump on the inner portion of my elbow. I dismissed it as a swollen gland for whatever strange reason.. I found another the next day under my left armpit, this aroused my curiosity... I have found numerous "lumps" in my breasts and groin area so. I immediately went in and saw my doctor.. He ordered blood tests, but seems generally uninterested.. They aren't painful, and I don't even have a cold.. It all seems so unreal.. Although, there isn't a family history of breast cancer that I'm aware of, my mom did pass away from acute leaukemia in 2009.. I'm trying to stay optimistic and positive.. It's very hard to do.. seems the more I read on the internet the more I see cancer... Any suggestions?????

Thank you Missie, Ill check this out... I'm waiting for the blood test results to come back, hopefully this week.. I did notice yesterday a couple of them had gotten larger, and found another one under my right arm pit.. trying to stay positive!!

Thank you for your question and welcome to Empowher. If your lymph nodes get swollen, it is often associated with some kind of infection in your body. Cancer is another reason why lymph nodes become inflammed but I think you should make another appointment with your doctor to find the unlying reason for the inflammation.
