I hurt my lower back last week. Since then my lower abdomen has been hurting (like a menstrual cramp pain). My legs hurt and up my sides along my ribcage. I stand on my feet all day at work however my legs and lower abdomen don't hurt til I'm at home sitting with my legs bent either to the side of me or under me. I just didn't know if I should go to a family doctor or a chiropractor.

If I don't have a family doctor would it be ok to go to a urgent care center?

Definitely make an appointment to be evaluated by your family doctor. I think you need an x-ray of your lower back.
You may have injured one of the spinal discs in the lumbar region. The discs can be thought of as spinal shock absorbers.
