I've had three endoscopies and a bleeding ulcer was detected. it has been resolved but there is still a nodule they want to investigate. Does this sound familiar?

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. I am glad to hear that your ulcers have been resolved. As for the nodule, I would assume that your doctor will be possibly taking a biopsy of the nodule in order to rule out cancer.

I found this site on the Mayo Clinic that explains in detail, please click here http://www.mayoclinic.org/endoscopic-ultrasound/.

Once you find out the results, can you keep us updated?
I hope this helps explain the procedure in more detail for you. If you have additional questions, please feel free to comment on this post.
Good luck,
Missie
