If when someone has inflammation in their body, like full muscle combined with the fact they only have one kidney: what over-the-counter pain medications can they take for the inflammation and pain. Hi Michelle,
March 1, 2011 - 6:12pmThe information which you were told regarding non-steroidal medications like Advil is correct. Any one with kidney disease should not take nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and this includes aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen.
