Hi I’ve been on birth control novynette since I was 17 years old I am 24 now, I’ve been taking it because I have ovarian cyst, my period is very heavy and painful and I needed to regulate my period and well because I’m sexually active. But novynette is completely out of stock, I’ve tried calling my doctor but I couldn’t get to speak with him and I can’t go to see him anytime soon. Right now I am on my period and I don’t want to finish it before going on another birth control pills. My pharmacist recommended yasmin but I’ve read bad reviews about it. I want a 21 days pack any recommendations after what I told you?

Guide

Hello, Anon. Thank you for your message.

If your doctor cannot be reached, speak with the nurse in his office. Your health care provider should be the one to determine (or change) what birth control is best for you based on your medical history, current conditions, and any medications you take. If this is not possible, then I would follow the advice of your pharmacist.
