My husband's sonography showed dorsal scoliosis.What is it.

Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER. Was the sonogram looking for scoliosis, or some other condition? Scoliosis is a curvature of the spine, the "dorsal" indicates the location or type of curvature. Your doctor can explain more thoroughly, and if he feels that treatment is needed. Most cases of scoliosis don't require treatment.

I didn't find specific information about dorsal scoliosis, but there is good information. The website isn't regularly updated, but you probably could send in a request for information in you wanted to.
