Hey,
So it’s the 13th day of my cycle and I’m experiencing some bleeding when I wipe , Is that normal? I’m thinking it has to do with ovulation but I never experienced it before. Also I havent been sexually active since before my last period so I kinda ruled out implantation bleeding.

Hello Zaria

Thank you for writing!

Estrogen levels take a temporary dip around ovulation and this can sometimes cause bleeding. Our cycles evolve over time - there is always a first time for everything. Since you haven't had sex since your last period, as you said, pregnancy should not be a concern.

If this bleeding turns into a pattern, talk to your gynecologist about why this may be happening. A hormonal imbalance may be the cause.
Best,
Susan

Thank you for the response, it seems as though my cycle has changed as I am now flowing like my regular period would.
