I have the chills, uncontrollable shaking at times no fever but hands and feet are cold. I got a lot of sun exposure this afternoon

Chills (also known as rigors) are caused by your body's attempt to burn energy and increase your body temperature. This happens (usually) when your body is trying to fight off an infection of some sort, like the flu. A bad sunburn or sun sickness can cause – nausea, vomiting, (fever) chills, headache and a general feeling of being unwell.
