Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

You may have Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIND) and it can be caused by listening to very loud music with headphones, playing in a band, gunshots or firecrackers.

It can be temporary - when did this loud bang occur? If it has been more than a few days, you need to see your doctor for an examination/testing.
Best,
Susan
