There are many different medications available by prescription to lower high blood pressure as well as different classes of medication. What is right for one person may be completely wrong for another. There are many resources available to learn more about these medications, such as the American Heart Association's website, but the determination of whether a particular one is the best or "worst" one for an individual is a medical decision, not one that is made through the Internet.Please work with your medical provider who can discuss options to treat high or low blood pressure which may include dietary and lifestyle changes as well as medications.
