what are natural cures for prolapse?

I have had 3 children and am in my early 50's and have bladder prolapse, I believe. There is a protrusion out of the vagina when I urinate. Sometimes it is the size of a golf ball just protruding out. It make me feel so awful about myself that since having this I have not been dating for fear it will show when having sex. Is there anything that I can do to heal this? Thank you.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER. In most cases, uterine prolapse occurs when pelvic floor muscles and ligaments stretch and weaken, providing no support for the uterus. Some treatments for this condition are performing exercises called Kegels to strengthen your pelvic muscles, may provide symptom relief. Vaginal pessary, this device fits inside your vagina and holds your uterus in place. To repair damaged or weakened pelvic floor tissues, doctors often use a vaginal approach to surgery, although sometimes doctors recommend an abdominal surgery. A hysterectomy, which removes your uterus, also may be needed. Anon, have you seen a doctor about these symptoms?

Here are some resources for you
