so basically I've been on birth control for 2 months now and I'm pretty good at taking the pill but sometimes i slip up and forget to take one but i always take it as soon as i remember. so recently i have missed pills but i can't remember if i only missed one or two..... another thing along with the missed pills is that i used to have cancer and had chemo for 9 months which greatly reduces my chance at fertility. right now i am very nervous i am pregnant but i know it's a slim chance. i am only 17

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

I'm sorry you have had to deal with cancer and at such a young age.

We cannot say if your cancer has affected your fertility but act like it has not - if you don't want to be pregnant.

Anytime you miss pills, especially two or more, and don't make them up properly (check your pill packet to know how to make them up correctly) there is some risk of pregnant.

Set an alarm on your phone or other device to remind you to take your pills at the same time every day - it really helps!

We wish you the best in health.
