Sometimes I get small cuts- they look like paper cuts inside my vagina, and I get cuts in between my vagina and anus ... I have no idea why I get these, I’m a virgin only ever receive oral... I’m thinking it might be due to how I am wiping? Too harshly?

Hello, Linapower. Thank you for your message.

A vaginal or labial cut or tear is a painful split, crack or break in the mucous membrane (skin) inside the vagina, on the inner or outer labia (vulva), on the perineum, or around the clitoris or clitoral hood.  Simple cuts, usually heal on their own within a week and are most often caused by everyday activities like hair removal, foreplay, and sexual intercourse.  They usually don’t leave any lasting marks.  Wiping gently and using a soft toilet paper or moistened wipe might help.  Your doctor can examine you if you are still concerned.
