Tiny pimple like bump near clit

Hello, I am a 25 year old female. About 2 months ago I noticed pain in my clitorous area during my period, when I decided to check I noticed that the area underneath my clitrous (labia minora i think it is called?) was swollen and pink. I seen a doctor who told me it seemed to be a blocked gland that could have happened from my period or a hair getting stuck in that area (I hadn't shaved down there in months so the hairs were kind of long sorry TMI). He told me to soak the area with hot water which I did, then it had immediately popped like a pimple with white liquid in it.

Since then I have had no pain or discomfort however, I noticed that although the swelling has gone away there is still a tiny shiny like bump remaining, it looks almost like a tiny acne pimple without a white head. I have no idea why it hasn't gone away or what it could be. I ran out of insurance hence why I can't go back to the doctors just yet.
Please help!

Hi Anonymous - Sorry to hear you aren't able to see your doctor due to not having insurance. Bumps and lumps are fairly common and occur for a number of reasons. You can try soaking in hot water again to see if the size reduces. If you should experience any pain, of course, you would need to find a way to get medical care, perhaps at an urgent care center. In the meantime please read this article on the many type of bumps and lumps women get "down htere" for more information on what causes these and what you can do. Best, Pat
