For the past 8 months or so I have been getting tingling sensations in my nipples whenever I get stressed/anxious. I have been to the doctors twice and both times they couldn't find anything wrong with my breasts itself. Occasionally I've been able to make it go away by calming down and relaxing, but it always comes back after 5-7 days. It's like my body is forcing me to get stressed out again so that the tingling can continue. I hate this and it's really tearing my life down. Has anyone else experienced this or could give me some advice? I'm desperate at this point.

Hello Anon
Thank you for writing.
The most common cause of breast tingling is a change in hormones. Stress can change hormones so it may well be that your physical health is fine but stress/anxiety is causing this symptom.
Have you considered talking to a therapist about your anxiety or stress and how to cope? I think if you feel like this physical symptom is tearing your life down, that your coping levels in general need some help. Stress is a normal part of life but depending on the amount of stress they have , a person may need additional emotional assistance.
