I have had a umbilical hernia surgery about 4 years ago and recently I have noticed there is more bulging now than after the surgery! Should I be alarmed?

Guide

Hello. Thank you for posting.

For the benefit of our readers, an umbilical hernia is when the belly button pops outwards due to a weakness in the muscles in or around the belly button.

Make an appointment with your doctor (or surgeon) to rule out a re-occurrence. It is possible for an umbilical hernia to re-occur.
