It started a couple years ago, no pain just unconformable heaviness, then progressed needing to stretch and straighten my leg. As time went by it got more uncomfortable, and now it's shooting pain, ?¿

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

Shooting pain often means nerve pain so you may have peripheral neuropathy that is increasing over time. Since it has been two years and is progressing, please seek medical advice.
Best,
Susan
