Pregnancy risk question

I went swimming with my friend today and we made out a little before. He had an erection and I saw him put his hands into his board shorts to adjust himself. A while later he helped me to adjust my bikini bottom, he touched the edges of my bikini bottom (outside), at the side of the groin area but never touching my genitals or putting his hands in. Do you think there is any pregnancy risk in this instance? Given that my period should be around the corner, I should not be ovulating now, so I guess it's safe. My cycle is 39 to 43 days and my last period was 25 June. I'm just probably too paranoid... right?

I know that sperms can live in the cervix for up to 5 days. Is it possible that any sperm is stored there until I ovulate for the next cycle? Meaning can it be that I had my period (it still isn't here yet) this month, but I may actually be pregnant next month due to this incident?

Guide

Hello, Anon!

Thank you for writing today.

No, you cannot get pregnant by having your bikini bottom adjusted. May I ask, did you have sex education at school? If not, it's a good idea to study on your own so you know how sex and the human body works. You can read books on this or search our EmpowHER site. This will eliminate a lot of stress that the unknown can cause.

A woman cannot get pregnant unless she has unprotected sex (intercourse) with ejaculation that enters the vagina. The highest chance for this is during ovulation.

So, pregnancy cannot occur from the scenario you describe.
