pregnancy not happening!

i have been married since 6months. i took pills to control pregnancy for starting 2 months of marriage. then i dropped taking them n since then i m getting normal periods butbwe want to conceive n trying since then means 3 months. why am i not still getting pregnant? my husband doesnt want to visit doctor for now. he wants to wait n see things happen naturally but i feel dejected everytime i see periods.
can any 1 guide through this.?

It can take up to a year for a healthy couple to conceive. Three months is not a long time - keep having sex between days 8-18 of your cycle and be patient. If you have no success in the next 6-9 months, both of you can be seen by a doctor to rule out any reasons why you are not conceiving.
